I’ve known Erin most (if not all) of her life.  I watched her grow up as I grew up in Commerce.  Who would have thought I’d be meeting her here again as a Commerce senior photographer?  Erin is a super sweet girl with an amazing family!  And isn’t she beautiful?!

I’ve wanted to do a shoot in downtown Commerce for quite a while and thought this was a great opportunity since we share a hometown.  We started at Huffman’s Feed Store parking lot and continued through an opening in the buildings where I assume a building used to be.  It’s been gone for my entire life.  From there we stopped at a park bench in front of the old dance studio (I took dance here for years growing up) which has most recently housed an antique store.  So much history in this town.  We walked around the corner for a quick series next to a classic painted brick wall.  The sun was setting fast, so we finished up our walk through downtown in order to get out to the farm to finish our shoot. We were losing light quickly so we hurried through.  Due to all the rain, we couldn’t get too far into the pasture for real autumn colors.  And because of all the rain, the grass was still very green.  I love the colors, though.

Erin, best wishes for your senior year!  I so enjoyed meeting you guys for this shoot and can’t wait to see what lies in store for you next year.  Cheers to this beautiful session!
